This is a brand new, 8.8" Rear ring and pinion set with a ratio of 3.55:1. This is great for the agressive 5-speed driver. It is also an awesome upgrade for the automatic as well. This is for both the Thunderbird as well as the Cougar. Remember when you change out the rear end, you will have to change out the speedometer gears. We sell those under another listing.
